NLI Engineering has signed a contract with Backe Vestfold Telemark.

NLI Engineering has signed a contract with Backe Vestfold Telemark for the complete projecting, dimensioning, delivery and installation of 200 tons of steel supporting structures for the new signal building – the Ibsen Library in Skien.

The project will be led by Miroslava Meland, and Ingebrigt Farstad is responsible for the projecting. We look forward to a good collaboration with Backe and all parties involved.

The library, which was designed by the Japanese architectural firm Kengo Kuma & Associates in collaboration with MAD architects, will not only function as a public library and service center, but also as an international dissemination arena for Henrik Ibsen and his poetry. The building will be ready for Ibsen’s 200th anniversary in 2028.
